30 weeks!

How far along? 30 weeks
Total weight gain: 18.6 lbs

Maternity clothes? Hopefully I can try to make it through the rest of the pregnancy with what I have now.  

Stretch marks?  No new ones.

Sleep: A little better, but rolling in and out of bed :)

Best moment this week: We had maternity pictures taken by our friend Donell.  She did such a great a job and it was a lot of fun!

Miss Anything? No

Movement: The only time he stops is when I'm working out. 

Food cravings:  Ice cream and cookies

Gender Prediction: Boy!

Labor Signs: None.

Symptoms: Back aches, cramps, and vericose veins.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! There's something about being at the 30 week mark that feels accomplished!

Looking forward to: Going to the Oregon Coast this Memorial day weekend.  We've been planning this trip with our good friends--Marilyn and her family for awhile now!  We are breaking up the trip by staying at the Kennedy School on our way there, Ali is going to love it there!  This is also Ali's last week of school, so she has a bunch of fun activities planned.

28 weeks: Third Trimester finally in the home stretch!

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain: 17.2 lbs.

Maternity clothes? I gave in and finally bought a pair of maternity pants.  My belly is getting too big!!!

Stretch marks?  My old ones are starting to get more noticeable again. 

Sleep: Not great.  Between the constant movement and just not being comfortable sleep is difficult. 

Best moment this week: My mom, Ali and I went on a quick trip to Portland this past weekend. I also had a Dr's. appt. and heard Christian's heartbeat, he was moving and kicking so much she could barely get a good count :).  My mom and I also went to a truffle making class this week, it was a lot of fun!

Miss Anything? Just being comfortable in my own skin. Pregnancy has always been hard for me to fully embrace :).  

Movement: The only time he stops is when I'm working out. 

Food cravings:  Not too bad lately.  But it's hard not to pass up sweets!

Gender Prediction: Boy!

Labor Signs: A few Braxton Hicks contractions, nothing major. 

Symptoms: Back aches, cramps, vericose veins.  I need to start taking an iron supplement because my Iron is a little low.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Very happy! I'm in my third trimester and getting closer to meeting this little guy!

Looking forward to: Celebrating Mothers Day!

27 weeks!

Last week of the the second trimester.  Can't believe I'm almost in my home stretch!!!

26 weeks - Last ultrasound

This is the last time we will get see Christian before he is born.

Doctor said his heart looked "text book".  Everything looked great! 

26 weeks.  Non-stop moving!

Ultrasound tech said he had a bunch of hair floating around already!

25 weeks - I chose this picture because there is a little orb on my belly.  Ever since Joel and I have known each other we always called those orbs "angels" in the picture.  Looks like Christian already has an angel looking after him :). Maybe it's his namesake (his Uncle Jon Christian).

24 weeks

How far along? 24 weeks and 4 days
Total weight gain: 12 lbs.

Maternity clothes? I went shopping and actually found some more non-maternity clothes a size up. 

Stretch marks?  Not yet, but my skin is definitely getting stretched out!

Sleep: Finding it hard to get comfortable at night.  It seems like he is up all night dancing around in my belly!

Best moment this week: I had a prenatal appointment and got to hear his heartbeat (145 bpm), I'm not sure if she just had the monitor turned up but it was super loud.  I am also measuring right at 24 weeks.  

Miss Anything? Just feeling comfortable.

Movement: Constant and really hard kicks.  

Food cravings:  Mostly sweets

Symptoms: The new thing is calf cramps, so painful!
